Gloucester Guildhall's Filmmaker Forum series celebrates local filmmaking talent, kicking off with a screening of feature film, Shopping Channels.

The first screening as part of Gloucester Guildhall’s Filmmaker Forum initiative, Pinpoint Films’ Shopping Channels will be shown, along with an insightful question and answer section.

Ideal for movie fans and budding filmmakers alike, the event on Saturday 19 March 2016 will showcase talent from Gloucestershire’s arts scene, screening the first feature production from local talent Pinpoint Films.

A feature film made on a low budget and within three days, Shopping Channels follows a pair of dysfunctional friends who embark upon a road trip across the country with a stranger, a journey which explores the joys of new relationships.

Aside from the storyline, with the production shot in and around Gloucestershire, eagle-eyed viewers are also sure to enjoy spotting local landmarks.

Directed by Gloucestershire’s own Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou, the screening promises an enjoyable evening, followed by a chance for aspiring filmmakers to hear top tips and tricks for creating their own productions.
