Cheers! Raise a glass and celebrate the Jubilee at The Inn at Fossebridge.

To commemorate the upcoming Diamond Jubilee as well as the opening of its new garden terrace, popular Cotswold venue The Inn at Fossebridge will be hosting a two-day celebratory extravaganza over the bank holiday, hoping to draw in quite the crowd from across the county.

To kick off proceedings on Sunday 3 June 2012, the charming eatery will be inviting foodies along to be the first to experience the Fossebridge Family Feast – said to be an exclusive dining experience in the setting of its new garden terrace.

The three course feast, priced at £27, will start with a tempting mezze platter of charcuterie, cured fish, local cheeses and homemade artisan bread, followed by the main event of either rump of beef or loin of pork carved at the table and served with all the trimmings. The experience will end on the sweet note of a seasonal pud, for those who can manage one.

The highlight of the bank holiday is sure to be the all-day Jubilee garden party, set to take place during the afternoon of Monday 4 June 2012.

The Inn will be hoping to satiate the appetites of hoards of partygoers with a choice of a sizzling, charcoal barbecue or traditionally British cream teas and cupcakes, whilst keeping the little ones entertained with some impressive balloon twisting and sculpting from children’s entertainer Magic Wiz.

What’s more, visitors will have the chance to digest a little culture, as the in-house gallery will be exhibiting Hollywood Greats and Marilyn Monroe photographs on the day.

With a Pimms and prosecco bar lined up to boot, we’re sure that this party could get pretty lively by the time the evening rolls around, and can think of no better way to celebrate our Queen’s sixty-year reign than with a drink in one’s hand and smiles all round.
