Raise your glasses and enjoy a Champagne Deutz Dinner at Cheltenham’s Ellenborough Park featuring the elegant Deutz from Aÿ, classic cuisine and pretty petit fours.

There’s nothing quite like a glass of bubbly to get the weekend off to a good start, and Cheltenham-based Ellenborough Park will be offering the finest of fizz alongside classic cuisine to visitors at its upcoming Deutz Dinner on Friday 20 July 2012.

Head sommelier Tobias Brauweiler has come up with every Champagne connoisseur’s dream, and will be presenting Deutz from Aÿ, said to be one of Champagne’s historic and most renowned terroirs – a group of vineyards sharing the same classification, soil, grapes and personality.

Organisers said: ‘Champagne Deutz has been making distinctive Champagnes characterised by finesse, elegant vinosity and complexity since 1838. Deutz passed on its approach through the generations: a consistent and harmonious blend which gives all Deutz wines a unique style.’

Brauweiler has teamed up with head chef David Kelman and promises to provide an enjoyable evening for all residents and guests who appreciate classic cuisine paired with fine wines.

The £125-a-head menu will begin with an aperitif and canapés in the exceptionally relaxed setting of The Great Hall, followed by a four-course dinner in the Tudor-inspired Beaufort Dining Room, accompanied by the Champagne Deutz wines.

The evening will end with tea or coffee served alongside a selection of tantalizing petit fours.

What’s more, Ellenborough Park is offering an overnight stay in one of its traditional rooms, including the Champagne Deutz Dinner for two and breakfast, for just £480 – so those wanting to make a night of it shouldn’t miss out.
