If you’re looking for a way to treat your dad this Father’s Day, then head to Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall on Sunday 16 June 2013, where a three-course carvery and the chance to spend some quality time together in stunning surroundings awaits.
Taking place in the elegantly-styled Dearmans Restaurant, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows and views out on to the lake, families can tuck into hearty and traditional British fare, while fathers themselves enjoy their free gift included with lunch.
Last year’s menu featured lip-smacking starters such as tequila marinated chicken with sweet chilli dip and filo-wrapped prawns with mango mayonnaise, with mains including roast loin of pork and apple; roast breast of turkey and cranberry; and grilled tuna steak – all served with roast potatoes and vegetables.
And desserts such as apple, sultana and cinnamon crumble; lemon tart; and chocolate fudge cake also went down a treat with local families too.
This year’s menu is expected to be just as mouth-watering, so for a well-priced way of saying thank you to dad, don’t delay in pre-booking your place for Father’s Day lunch at Bowden Hall.
