Regulars of Daylesford Organic Farmshop in the Cotswolds can celebrate 10 years of award-winning, sustainable produce fresh from the farm to their forks on Saturday 13 October 2012, when it hosts a family-friendly birthday celebration in-store.
Taking full advantage of its location, the farm shop has been providing the community with hand-picked fruit, veg and herbs from its market garden; cheese, milk and yoghurt from its creamery; and freshly-baked bread from its bakery, for the last decade, not to mention imaginative, award-winning ready meals and soups from its kitchen.
Hoping to draw in families of foodies from miles around, Daylesford will be filling the farm shop with balloons and birthday presents, as well as slicing up a special birthday cake to mark the occasion.
Kids are sure to love taking a trailer ride around the farm, visiting its animals roaming around the surrounding pastures, and organisers will have plenty of fun and games lined up to boot.
So show your support for sustainable, organic food and keeping food miles low, by wishing the Daylesford Organic Farmshop a happy 10th birthday this October.
