Went along to Rise Helicopters on Saturday for the £20 ride. It was excellent and couldn't believe how cheap it was!...

Gloucestershire yoga in pregnancy classes
If you are expecting a little bundle of joy and want to keep fit, taking a specialist yoga class while you’re pregnant can be a stress-relieving way to exercise in Gloucestershire.
Yoga is undisputedly one the best forms of low-intensity exercise for pregnant women, so it’s no surprise that more and more people across the county are practicing their poses before they hear the pitter patter of tiny feet.
Advocates claim the body and mind workout can help mums-to-be with both pregnancy and labour, as women who regularly practice yoga are more flexible – enabling them to adapt better to labour positions, and the ligaments are more elastic – which in turn can help reduce labour pains. Breathing and body awareness is also increased through practicing yoga and stress is dealt with better.
Yoga classes can help boost circulation and also help reduce fluid retention, while stretching exercises relieve aches and pains. The posture can also be improved by yoga and this can also help ease back problems. Plus, it’s a great way to get or keep in shape pre- or post-pregnancy.
Halo House in Cheltenham offer six week courses, on Monday evenings between 6.15 pm to 7.30pm and 7.45 pm to 9 pm, run by expert Mary Harris who has been teaching yoga to pregnant women for more than 20 years.
Ian Davies from Orange Yoga is a qualified Birthlight Yoga teacher who runs weekly yoga for pregnancy classes at the Cheltenham Holistic Centre on Tuesdays from 12.30pm and at Chapel Spa on Wednesdays from 12pm.
Stroud Subscription Rooms also offer weekly classes, which are held on Mondays between 10.15am to 11.45am, and cost £5 per session.
As yoga in pregnancy courses are becoming more and more in demand, be sure to contact the individual venues detailed above to book in advance. Group classes are a great chance for mums-to-be to get together in Gloucestershire, not to mention an effective and safe way to stretch before you push.
