Local stretching aficionado David Rawlings will be hosting another one of his popular classes on Sunday 11 March 2012, entitled Space to Stretch: Feel More Flexible.

Regular stretching is said to be an important, but often neglected, activity and class participants will be given the chance to devote time to exploring their flexibility. ‘Regular stretching could improve our posture, our range of movement, as well as the quality of our movement,’ said David.

A reasonable level of flexibility is essential for the healthy functioning of joints and muscles, and stretching may also help to ease minor injuries, aches and pains. This class will allow everyone to experience a wide range of stretches, developing flexibility in all the main muscles.

Feedback from previous classes has included ‘I loved the wide range of stretches and movements we did and felt everything flowed together,’ and ‘it was wonderful to see the change from starting the exercise with a small range of movement to progressing quickly to deeper stretches’.

David also commented: ‘With gradual progression and time to explore the movements it is my aim that you leave the class feeling strong, supple and more aware of the movements that your body is capable of. It is my intention that the class is straightforward and easy to follow, with no rushing, no pressure and with a focus on progress, not perfection.’

Now a firm favourite with SoGlos.com’s readers, don’t miss this unique stretching event and the chance to devote time to exploring your flexibility.
