SoGlos.com is delighted to reveal that local stretching expert David Rawlings will be launching a new Wednesday evening Supple Shoulders class this July, with the first being held at The Isbourne Holistic Centre on Wednesday 11 July 2012.
Supple Shoulders; free your neck may help relieve everyday aches and pains in the upper back, neck and shoulders, and ‘could be a useful addition to, or follow on from physical therapy treatment’.
The NHS reports around 3 in 10 adults are affected by shoulder conditions at any one time, and neck pain is a common complaint. Long commutes and too much time sitting in front of the computer, as well as repetitive movements or intense exercise and sports training, can contribute to stiffness and lack of movement in the muscles that this Cheltenham class will be focusing on.
Participants may want to improve their overall health and wellbeing; this class is about taking positive action for the short- and long-term health of your body. ‘What better place to start than with the muscles than move our head and arms – parts of the body that allow us to interact and connect with the world around us’.
Working on the shoulders, neck and back is sure to help class-goers start to experience more natural, easy and coordinated movement – you’ll be guided through movements to stretch and energise, focusing on progress not perfection.
Follow in the footsteps of dozens of SoGlos.com readers, and give David’s well respected local class a try for yourself.
