The Bear of Rodborough is nestled in a picture-perfect rural setting on Rodborough Common, a 300-acre National Trust site, along with benefitting from beautiful views as far as the eye can see.

The hotel is housed in a 17th century former coaching inn that has been tastefully restored to offer a welcoming and relaxing space to eat, drink and sleep.

The collection of 46 bedrooms, located in the Main House and the neighbouring Country House, have been individually designed to offer their own individual character, while warm colours, sumptuous rich fabrics and antique furniture feature throughout the charming guest spaces.

The Bear of Rodborough has a choice of dining options, with The Bear Bar and Pavilion offering an enticing menu that features sharing boards, handmade scotch eggs, pub classics, pizzas, sandwiches and more.

During the winter months, guests will enjoy sinking into the cosy fireside armchairs, while the Pavilion Garden Bar, which opened in 2017, is perfect for alfresco entertaining, with fairy lights, deckchairs and garden games adding to the summer party feel.

Those craving a country dining experience can retreat to The Library, the hotel’s relaxed yet refined restaurant which serves seasonal menus that celebrate local produce in abundance.
