Gloucestershire-based wedding planning company Planned for Perfection has seen off stiff competition from wedding planners from across the county and the south west, to scoop the 2012 wedding industry award for ‘Best Independent Wedding Planner in the South West of England’.
The prestigious award is described as recognising and rewarding excellence in wedding suppliers, both regionally and nationally. Jane Riddell, who heads up the established local company, will now go through to the national awards ceremony at Cafe de Paris in London in January 2012 – competing against six other regional winners for the coveted title of ‘National Independent Wedding Planner’.
Other Gloucestershire companies to have won the south west award in their respective categories include Crown Catering – winner of Best Independent Wedding Caterer; Donna Beaver at The Flower Studio – winner of Best Wedding Florist; Fordham Hair Design – winner of Best Wedding Hair Stylist; Sophie Everett – winner of Best Wedding Make-Up Artist; One Man And His Jaguars – winner of Best Wedding Transport Supplier; and The Kingscote Barn – winner of Best Wedding Venue.
It’s a particular coup for Gloucestershire to have so many of the south west award winners based in the county, and fingers crossed for some national award wins in the final of the coveted competition on Wednesday 18 January 2012.
