Hot on the heels of its enviable recognition as a five-star hotel, luxury Cheltenham venue Ellenborough Park has appointed Nick Walley as operations manager – whose experience includes tenures at none other than The Ritz London and Chewton Glen.
Nick’s role will be no mean feat, as he’ll be responsible for day to day operations with a particular focus on food and beverage, including both The Brasserie and The Beaufort Dining Room.
With roots in the county as a University of Gloucestershire graduate, a hotel spokesperson commented Nick ‘has a proven track record in customer service and food and beverage management, which fits well with Ellenborough Park’s excellent reputation.’
While Nick added: ‘Ellenborough Park has achieved enviable success in a short period of time. I’m looking forward to sharing my experience, bringing in new ideas and working alongside its high calibre team.’
Ellenborough Park has received a number of accolades since opening in March 2011; including becoming Gloucestershire’s first AA Five Star hotel and spa, winning Hotel of the Year in the 2012 Cotswold Tourism Awards, and two top World Travel Awards in 2011.
