There’s been a Valentine’s ball murder at Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall, so organisers are inviting locals to put their detective skills to the test in a Murder Mystery Evening taking place on Saturday 16 February 2013.
Offering an alternative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day or fun night out with friends, the evening will start with a lip-smacking three-course dinner in the stunning lakeside suite.
Choice starters include warm goat’s cheese and red onion tart; ham hock and leek terrine; and tomato and basil soup, while there’s chicken supreme; grilled salmon fillet; and roasted vegetable risotto for the main course, and a choice of sticky toffee pudding; New York cheesecake; or selection of British cheeses for dessert.
The real fun will begin when the murder mystery act plays out the chilling and interactive tale during the meal, giving guests the chance to team up and solve the case of the Valentine’s ball murder and win the mystery prize – a must for Cluedo fans across the county.
Diners and budding detectives alike will then have the chance to show off their best moves in the disco until the early hours – with discounted rates on accommodation available for those too tired to face the journey home.
