Cheltenham Park Hotel to rebrand as a DoubleTree by Hilton

Cheltenham Park Hotel is set to rebrand as a DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham in spring 2017, following completion of an exciting £4.5 million refurbishment of the four-star establishment.

Popular Gloucestershire bolthole, Cheltenham Park Hotel, is to be given a new lease of life when it rebrands as a DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham in March 2017.

The four-star hotel, located in an idyllic setting overlooking Lilley Brook lake and golf course, is currently undergoing a £4.5 million project to transform the existing space into a relaxing place to eat, sleep and drink.

The refurbishment spans all 148 bedrooms, the addition of three new luxury suites, and 520 square meters of revamped event space that includes the Park Suite, which caters for 320 guests, making it the ideal place for hosting conferences and weddings.

The leisure club has also been overhauled and benefits from state-of-the-art equipment in the hotel gym, along with a 15-metre swimming pool, and four beauty treatment rooms.

The guest experience will be further enhanced in the new year when the public bars and Lilley Brook lounge will be overhauled, including the addition of a Starbucks, open for guests and residents alike.

General manager of Cheltenham Park Hotel, Syed Zaidi, said: ‘The transformation of this much loved hotel into DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham marks a new chapter for this grade II listed property.

‘We are thrilled to be nearing the end of our exciting multi-million-pound refurbishment and the hotel team are really looking forward to working with one of the world’s leading hospitality brands.’
