New Brewery Arts offers on-site accommodation

New Brewery Arts in Cirencester offers on-site accommodation at The Barrel Store, which can be booked for those attending workshops and courses, or for independent stays.

Whether you’re visiting New Brewery Arts for a workshop or course, or are looking for accommodation in the area, its on-site space, The Barrel Store, is home to 14 simple yet stylish rooms.

Offering room for 43 guests, the building is a former 18th century Cotswold stone brewery barrel store, which has been beautifully and creatively transformed into contemporary accommodation.

The Barrel Store provides budget accommodation with high end flair, and has been built to Passivhaus Standard – meaning it is energy efficient, comfortable, affordable and ecological at the same time. It’s the first Passive House public building in Gloucestershire, and one of only a handful in the country.

Owned by New Brewery Arts, a venue that champions craft and creativity for all, craft was incorporated into the refurbishment of The Barrel Store, featuring bed throws made by Cotswold Woollen Weavers; blinds from Vanessa Arbuthnott; and handmade beds.

Available to hire exclusively for groups such as walkers, cyclists, celebrations and stag or hen parties, The Barrel Store also has a community room comprised of a small self-catering communal kitchen and lounge where residential guests are welcome to cook, eat and relax.

Having been reviewed as ‘very clean and comfortable’ and a ‘great accommodation in the centre of town’, The Barrel Store offers convenient and comfortable play to stay, with its central location perfect for exploring the Cotswolds.
