Status Quo at Westonbirt Arboretum
Veteran rockers Status Quo will be playing a one-off concert at Westonbirt Arboretum in the summer 2010. Tickets on sale now.
One of Britain’s longest serving and most celebrated bands, Status Quo, has announced that it will be playing a one-off summer concert at Westonbirt Arboretum in July 2010.
Tickets costing £33 are on sale now from ticketmaster.co.uk.
Status Quo will be playing the outdoor concert at the National Arboretum near Tetbury on Saturday 17 July 2010, alongside summer performances from James Morrison, Simply Red and Keane as part of the Forestry Commission’s annual Forest Tours.
More than 40 years since Status Quo first made the UK charts with ‘Pictures of Matchstick Men’, the band has accumulated more than 110 million record sales – spending more than seven and a half years on the singles charts, notching up 63 British hit singles and making 106 appearances on BBC TV’s Top of the Pops.
As many a Gloucestershire fan will remember, tickets for Status Quo’s 2008 gig at Westonbirt Arboretum sold out in record time, so if you want to rocking all over the forest with Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt don’t hang around getting your hand on tickets.
Book tickets in advance from ticketmaster.co.uk.
