The dinosaurs exhibitions is great. My youngest and I are big fans of the series so it was nice to see the models up close...

Barbara Dickson will be performing a fresh line-up of music at Cheltenham Town Hall.

Celebrating more than 40 years as a professional musician, Barbara Dickson will be bringing her latest show to Cheltenham on Sunday 21 February 2010 for an evening of entertainment which promises to put a smile on live music-lovers’ faces.

With a career as a multi-platinum selling singer, not to mention award-winning actress, Barbara Dickson has firmly established herself as one of the most versatile performers in the UK.

With a background playing the folk clubs of Liverpool, Barbara Dickson found nationwide fame on The Two Ronnies television show, before recording Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Another Suitcase, In Another Hall and Tim Rice’s musical Evita, before starring in the West End musicals Blood Brothers and Chess.

While many came to know her name thanks to her duet of ‘I Know Him So Well’ with Elaine Paige, in recent years Barbara Dickson has appeared in a spate of television dramas, before she returned to the West End for Spend, Spend, Spend.

With an eclectic musical background, on Sunday evening expect to hear Barbara Dickson perform a varied concert of diverse numbers at Cheltenham Town Hall, including plenty of tracks from her latest album Time and Tide; a few old favourites and pieces from Willy Russell’s musical John, Paul, Ringo, George and Bert, as well as ‘I Know Him So Well,’ of course, performed in her unique style.
