Wired 2009 New Bands night

Event ended

10 January – Wired Records will be kick-starting the New Year with a bang, bringing the best new bands from the region to Gloucester Guildhall’s stage.

Gloucestershire audiences will be given the chance to check out the best new bands from the county, when Wired Records holds its first event of the New Year.

Wired Records was established in 2002 as a not-for-profit music development company, with the aim of improving the quality of music made by young people in Gloucester and to raise the profile of the local music scene, and has been become a county institution.

Regular showcase nights are held at Gloucester Guildhall – giving performers the chance to flex their material in front of a live audience – with the next event taking place on Saturday 10 January 2009.

While the line-up of bands performing was still to be confirmed at the time of writing, the Wired Records’ events at Gloucester Guildhall attract a loyal crowd and, for live music lovers, are not to be missed.
