David Gray will be playing a live concert at Westonbirt Arboretum in Gloucestershire on Friday 17 July 2009, as part of Forestry Commission’s series of Live Music tours.
Audiences at the arboretum near Tetbury can expect to hear chart-topping tracks from David Gray’s trio of number one albums, with highlights expected to include sing-along versions of the singles ‘This Year’s Love’, ‘Sail Away’ and ‘Please Forgive Me’, not forgetting ‘Babylon’, plucked from The Ivor Novello Award-winning British singer-songwriter’s back catalogue.
Described by organisers as ‘the most influential and successful British singer-songwriter of the past decade,’ David Gray’s Gloucestershire concert is the final summer date announced at Westonbirt Arboretum, with Paul Weller, Simply Red, McFly and Vanessa-Mae also performing.
