Cafe Rene is set to form the heart of the Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival for the eight-year running, with seven days of live music, food, drink and fun this summer.

Taking place from Monday 26 July to Sunday 1 August 2010, the city centre venue will be going all out with an outdoor stage, pig roast, barbecue, real ale and cider festival, ghost walks, fundraising and much more.

Solo artists and bands to have made the 2010 line-up include Mike Sanchez playing on Monday 26, Willie and the Bandits on Tuesday 27, Will Killeen on Wednesday 28, Patsy Gamble and Keith Thompson on Thursday 29 and SoGlos.com favourites The Ragtime Jug Orchestra on Friday 30 July 2010.

While Saturday 31 July 2010 will see acts Alexander John, Dr Mojito, Oliver Darling and The Dirty Robbers, Good God No! And Miss Fusion all entertaining the crowds as part of an anticipated day of acclaimed live music.

Then, on Sunday 1 August 2010, Sisters in Grease Perry Foster, Profoundly Blue, Innes Sibun and The Larry Miller Band will all be stepping up to the mark – guaranteeing this year’s event goes out with a bang.
