Seven days of live music, a real ale and cider festival, indoor and outdoor performances, ghost walks and more are sure to make this year’s Cafe Rene Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival the best yet.

Cafe Rene is set to form the heart of the Gloucester Rhythm and Blues Festival for yet another year running, with seven days of eclectic live music, tasty food, delectable drink and plenty of blues-tinged fun scheduled again this summer.

Taking place from Monday 25 to Sunday 31 July 2011, the city centre venue will be going all out with an outdoor stage, pig roast and much more, not to mention a dedicated real ale and cider festival.

Monday 25 July 2011

Mike Sanchez will be playing in the bar from 9pm.

Tuesday 26 July 2011

Steve Walwyn and Friends will be playing to audiences in the bar from 9pm.

Wednesday 27 July 2011

Tonight it’s Honeyboy Hickling who’ll be entertaining crowds in the bar from 9pm.

Thursday 28 July 2011

Perry Foster is scheduled to play in the bar from 9pm.

Friday 29 July 2011

Don’t miss the Jay Tamkin Band, Innes Sibun, Wille and the Bandits, The Larry Miller Band and the funktastic Papa Burgundy all playing in Cafe Rene’s bar from 9pm tonight.

Saturday 30 July 2011

Today will see the likes of Babajack, Dirty Ray, The Roving Crows, The Outcast Band, Black Canvas and Miss Fusion playing on the special outdoor stage, with times to be confirmed.

Sunday 31 July 2011

On the last day of the festival don’t miss The Rikshaw Brides, Brett Mclaughlan Band and Oliver Darling all storming the outdoor stage, with times to be confirmed.


With free entry and the chance to catch a melting pot of local musical talent all in one place, don’t miss out on the chance to be part of this very special Gloucester event at Cafe Rene.
