Captain Hotknives gig at Cafe Rene

Event ended

Prepare to be entertained, and hopefully not offended, when Captain Hotknives steps up at Cafe Rene in Gloucester.

Captain Hotknives is bringing his distinct blend of music and comedy to Cafe Rene.
Captain Hotknives is bringing his distinct blend of music and comedy to Cafe Rene.

In what will be one of his only south west gigs in a busy UK tour, Captain Hotknives will be entertaining audiences at Cafe Rene this Friday 24 September 2010 with his distinct blend of live music.

In an event described as ‘not for the fainthearted’ with plenty of content which may offend, those with an open mind are sure to enjoy the Captain’s edgy repertoire including the likes of ‘I Skanked me Nana’, ‘I Hate Babies’ and ‘Scuse Me Mate’ – often delivered to the tune of popular songs spanning the generations.

Hotknives describes his influences as punk, reggae, hip hop, ska, heavy rock, folk and biscuits.

Think Flight of the Conchords crossed with Roy Chubby Brown and, if that sounds like your idea of a great night out, Cafe Rene is the place to be.
