New Lakefest festival announced for 2012
News – Levellers, Reef, Toploader and a whole host of other acts will be gracing the stage at the brand new Lakefest music festival near Tewkesbury, in May 2012.
While Gloucestershire may already be a festival hotspot, SoGlos.com is delighted to reveal that the county has a very special new entertainment spectacular to look forward to, as Lakefest 2012 arrives at Croft Farm Waterpark near Tewkesbury next spring.
Lakefest was devised after the phenomenal success of the West Country Cider and Music Festival, which was held at the same location in April 2011 and attracted thousands of festival-goers who turned up to enjoy the live music, classic games and local ciders.
Taking place from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 May 2012, the brand new Lakefest will, however, take the local festival to a whole new level, according to organisers – with a superb line-up of world-class bands playing live music sets to accompany the stunning scenery, camping and selection of beers and ciders.
Hot off the virtual presses, SoGlos.com can report that none other than the Levellers will be headlining Lakefest, with Reef, Dodgy and Toploader also on the anticipated set list.
Grab a ticket and you can also expect to see 3 Daft Monkeys, Chesney Hawkes, The Roving Crows, Kickback and Avert Francis giving it their all on the stage.
Plus, don’t miss Smoke Feathers, Miles and Erica of The Wonderstuff, Erica and Rainy and the Dust entertaining the live music fans at this new event.
