They're back! Catch Steps in the county this summer.

Nope, you’re eyes don’t deceive you – late nineties and early noughties pop phenomenon Steps are back, and SoGlos.com is delighted to reveal the band will be bringing their reunion tour to Westonbirt Arboretum on Sunday 22 July 2012 – with tickets on sale now.

While they surely need no introduction, Steps dominated the charts over a five-year period, including an impressive run of 14 consecutive top five singles which had the whole nation singing and dancing along – like it or not!

Who can forget the likes of ‘One For Sorrow’, ‘Heartbeat/Tragedy’, ‘Love’s Got A Hold Of My Heart’, ‘Deeper Shade Of Blue’, ‘After The Love Has Gone’, ‘When I Said Goodbye/Summer Of Love’ and ‘Stomp’? What’s more, Steps’ live shows are said to have captured the hearts of fans, selling out multiple dates across the country and making them a hugely successful touring act.

The Brit award-winning group, including Lee Latchford-Evans, Claire Richards, Lisa Scott-Lee, Faye Tozer and Ian Watkins – better known as H – reformed last year for a Sky Living television documentary series Steps: The Reunion.

They also announced a UK arena tour which organisers say is proving one of the hottest tickets for 2012, and released a greatest hits album, The Ultimate Collection, which entered the charts at the top – becoming the band’s third No.1 album.

Commenting on Steps’ Gloucestershire show, Ian Watkins said: ‘We are all really up for performing our hits in such a fantastic setting and promise a Steptacular show.’

Björn Again will also appear as special guests at the Westonbirt concert, performing ABBA’s greatest hits such as ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Money, Money, Money’ and ‘Take A Chance On Me’ to get the audience on their feet.

The Gloucestershire audience can expect nothing less than a pop-tastic summer evening out in the great outdoors.
