Music fans in Cheltenham will have the chance to see a gig celebrating hard rockers Thin Lizzy on Friday 11 May 2012, when tribute act Limehouse Lizzy is set to play the Bacon Theatre.
According to organisers, Limehouse Lizzy continues to keep the spirit of the original Celtic rock band alive through their explosive shows, bringing not only attention to detail, but charismatic audience interaction and that all important X-factor feeling to performances.
Currently in the middle of their European tour, the band hopes to wow the Cheltenham audience with their versions of Thin Lizzy classics that include ‘The Boys are Back in Town’, ‘Black Rose’, ‘Whiskey in the Jar’, and many more.
Speaking for the Bacon Theatre, Jess Waterman said: ‘Limehouse Lizzy are renowned for their explosive tribute performances, and many of our regular live music audience members have been asking for them to appear at the Bacon for some time. You can’t get a higher recommendation than that!’
Fans of the original Thin Lizzy might just be impressed by this quartet; with Radio Times also giving them the thumbs up: ‘If you’re sceptical about tribute acts, you won’t be after seeing Limehouse Lizzy’.
