Led Zeppelin fans, stop what you are doing and take note. The legendary vocalist and veteran rocker Robert Plant will be playing in Gloucestershire – performing with his new band, Sensational Space Shifters.
Debuting at Gloucester Guildhall on Tuesday 8 May 2012, the intimate gig is certain to sell out in lightening speed.
Boasting a musical career that spans more than 40 years, Robert Plant has not only achieved worldwide success through what is arguably one of the most influential rock bands in history, but also through his solo career.
Highlights include winning five Grammys in 2009 with his album Raising Sand, with Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Contemporary Americana/Folk Album among the accolades.
Plant was also honoured with a CBE by Prince Charles for his ‘services to popular music’ during the same year, and he was named the Best Lead Singer of All Time by Rolling Stone readers in 2011, proving that his dedication to and skill in the world of music continues to impress across the globe.
Plant will be unveiling his new band, Sensational Space Shifters, at Gloucester’s Guildhall for a low-key warm-up gig ahead of the band’s busy summer festival schedule, and we’re sure it’s going to be as sensational as it sounds.
Please note, this event has sold out.
