Fans of classic American rock will have the chance to journey back to sunny southern California and experience the sounds of the Eagles, when tribute act Desperado performs live on the Bacon Theatre stage.
The five-piece band, named after the Eagles’ 1973 concept album, promises to resurrect the wave of melody, harmony and musicianship on Saturday 9 June 2012, that saw the original chart toppers win countless Grammys and become known as one of the greatest bands 70s bands.
Fans can expect to hear timeless hits spanning decades of the band’s career such as ‘Best of My Love’, ‘Hotel California’, ‘Love Will Keep Us Apart’ and many more from platinum-selling albums that include Hotel California and the most recent, Long Road out of Eden.
Hoping to demonstrate that imitation is in fact the highest form of flattery, Desperado will be pulling out all the stops for the Cheltenham audience, and promise to treat all songs with a reverence and authenticity Eagles fans will appreciate.
