Continuing the Bands at the Bar season at Cheltenham’s scenic Imperial Garden Bar, Jake Watson will be playing an exclusive acoustic folk set live on Saturday 9 June 2012.
Hailing from Farnborough, the 20-year-old has been likened to Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, and is said to tap into the rich vein of folk music from long ago to create a modern and unique sound.
With an ever-increasing local following and a hectic touring schedule ahead of the summer release of his new album, Jake Watson could just be one to keep your eye on for the future.
Offering the perfect backdrop of bright, open gardens for the sunnier months, The Imperial Garden Bar is hoping to entice hoards of local music lovers with its Bands at the Bar season.
Plus, with a menu featuring light bites, afternoon teas and even picnic hampers on offer, you’re sure to find everything you need to while away an afternoon.
