To mark a mammoth 10 years of riling up rockers with its infectious sound, Cheltenham’s original punk rock band 4ft Fingers will be performing its Last Man Standing tour live at Gloucester Guildhall on Thursday 11 October 2012.
Boasting the original line-up of vocalist Rob, Tom on guitar, Dougie on bass and Dave on drums, the foursome are promising to play all the favourites from their first two albums, At Your Convenience and From Hero To Zero, which is sure to delight the more hardened fans out there.
Formed in Cheltenham in 1996, 4ft Fingers quickly established themselves as one of the household names that shaped the British punk rock and ska scenes in the early 2000s, alongside the likes of [Spunge], King Prawn and Jesse James.
Having built up a reputation as one of the UK’s hardest working bands, playing 140 shows per year, it’s clear to see why this four-piece have managed to maintain such a strong and loyal following from far and wide.
Organisers said: ‘10 years after the release of From Hero To Zero and the hugely popular ‘Last Man Standing’, 4ft Fingers are back for an exclusive and one-off set of reunion shows, which will be reaped in nostalgia as the band will rip through all the favourites from the first two albums.’
Expect to see plenty of people skanking in the mosh pit, in a night that’s expected to sell-out at lightning speed.
