FreeCafé Rene is set to be taken over by eight-piece Plymouth band The Infinite Collective on Friday 22 March 2013, bringing with it a repertoire of music spanning everything from folk to electronica, that’s set to go down a treat with local music lovers.
Formed in 2009, The Infinitive Collective is an arts collaboration between like-minded musicians, consisting of Zandra Lacey, Cosmic, Jimmerjimijar, Delicious, The Great Mammoo, Odlaw Fukmoose, Big Chief Kickin’ Wing and Popkids, who came together to ‘partake in nights of fun and creativity.’
As well as writing and performing its own music at intimate gigs across the land, fusing ska, electronica, reggae, hip hop, eastern folk and more, the band has also played on festival stages and at events throughout the south west, including the increasingly popular Plymouth Volksfest.
Complete with trombone, saxophone, synthesisers and mandolin, The Infinite Collective promises to please even the most discerning musical palate.
