Bishop Fleming, which opened its first Gloucestershire branch in September 2023, has revealed record fee increases of 19 per cent in the 2022-23 financial year.

Building on this success, Jamie Vinall has been appointed its new audit director, to help strengthen the Cheltenham-based team as demand for the firm’s audit services increases, most notably in the owner-managed business market in Gloucestershire.

Jamie brings with him extensive experience of corporate auditing across the retail, automotive, energy and construction industries.

On his appointment, Jamie said: 'I am delighted to join Bishop Fleming and excited by the business's vision for the future, particularly regarding the growth strategy in the Cheltenham region.

'Gloucestershire has such a diverse pool of businesses and I look forward to networking and seeking opportunities for working with these exciting businesses.'

Cheltenham office lead and audit partner, David Butler, added: 'It gives me immense pleasure to welcome Jamie to our business. His appointment represents a significant enhancement to our Gloucestershire reach as we look towards an exciting period of growth.

'Jamie’s experience with a diverse range of clients will strengthen the specialist services we can offer to our clients in this region.'
