Take on the new Questivity trails opening in Gloucestershire in 2023.

In an exciting new venture, the founders of Eat Sleep Axe and Escape Rooms Cheltenham are bringing the brand new outdoor tech-powered trail activity, Questivity, to Gloucestershire.

Questivity brings together the intrigue of escape room puzzles, the thrill of augmented reality and the excitement of geocaching, in a combination that promises an entertaining experience unlike anything else.

Having partnered with games software company, Cluetivity, the team have created two new outdoor GPS puzzle trails, set in the heart of Cheltenham.

Players can choose from Magic Portal, set around the picturesque Pittville Park, and Blackout, set around the town centre. Teams of Questers will meet at Escape Rooms Cheltenham to pick up Quest Packs and be given instructions.

Each game will be guided with an iPad that will need to be used to navigate the puzzle route, making it a unique technological activity.

In Magic Portal, players must prevent monstrous creatures from entering our world and causing chaos by completing an outdoor puzzle quest to save the day. Solving physical and augmented reality puzzles along the way, heroes must retrieve at least three magic crystals in order to close the portal once and for all.

While in a case of criminal hacking, Blackout takes players on a quest to save the UK's power grid. Follow the GPS trail on the iPad provided to seek out the secret emergency generator located in Cheltenham, protected by a variety of complex codes and puzzles. Crack the codes, locate the power nodes and restore the power supply to avoid a power outage catastrophe.

The puzzle trails take around 90 minutes to complete and involve plenty of walking, so they provide an excellent opportunity to get active with friends and family!

The activities are available to book from Saturday 6 May 2023 and are suitable for all ages, but teams are required to have at least one adult over the age of 18.
