Gloucestershire County Cricket Club to host England Women Internationals

Howzat! The English national women’s cricket team will play not once, but twice at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club in nearby Bristol this summer 2022, in a bumper summer for the sport.

Women’s teams from England, South Africa and India will play key cricket matches at Gloucestershire County Cricket Club this summer.

Bristol County Cricket Ground, home of Gloucestershire County Cricket Club since 1889, will host the England Women Internationals in July and September 2022.

South Africa is set to play England Women on Friday 15 July 2022 in a one-day international match.

England Women will then return to play India in a WI20 on Thursday 15 September 2022.

Managing director of Women’s Cricket, Clare Connor, said: ‘We are thrilled to be able to announce a compelling summer of international women’s cricket against two of the best teams in the world, in what is a bumper year for the women’s game.’

Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 15 March 2022.
