Fabio plays Subtone

Cheltenham nightclub Subtone will once again play host to drum and bass legend DJ Fabio, in September.

Not to be confused with the long-haired 80s pin-up of the same name, Fabio will be sending drum and bass fans flocking to Subtone in Cheltenham this autumn, when the acclaimed DJ is lined-up to play a scorching set on Friday 17 September 2010.

Alongside partner in crime Grooverider, Fabio has risen through the ranks of British DJs. From playing on a pirate radio station to residing at some of the country’s most exciting and ground breaking clubs – shaping the sound of drum and bass, house, techno and early breakbeat while he was at it.

Squeezing the Cheltenham Friday night set into his busy schedule, Fabio also still manages to fit in hosting Radio 1’s Saturday night Drum and Bass Show too.

While D&B fans will be thrilled to once again see the genre heavyweight gracing Subtone’s decks, resident DJs Darren Priceless and Cool Cut C will also be keeping the masses dancing to drum and bass until the early hours this weekend.
