Boogie Lounge launches new 80s night

News - Popular Cheltenham club Boogie Lounge is set to provide a heady haven for those hungry (like the wolf) for 80s hits, fresh for the summer.

Those with a penchant for Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet or perhaps a bit of Bananarama will be thrilled to learn of Cheltenham nightclub Boogie Lounge club’s new 80s night, being held every Friday night from June 2010.

The club’s retro decor should provide a prime setting for the 80s evening, and with promotions aplenty, shoulder pad-wearing party-goers should be prepared to power through pints and sample imaginative cocktails.

Entry costs just £1, with the promise of a free shot for all club guests. And for those with the stamina, the night will romp on until 3am.

Revellers can also try their luck at the Boogie Lounge Wheel of Fortune, for an opportunity to win anything from shots to champagne.

And those preferring to take five in the lounge bar can have a go at winning a few beverages at the blackjack table, while hip hop, indie and electro DJs take to the decks to keep you grooving all evening.

Demonstrating a love for all things 80s-inspired, possibly only to be matched by Mr Calvin Harris, Boogie Lounge’s plans to pump up Friday nights in Cheltenham seem more than a possibility – expect to see power suits and puffball skirts aplenty.
