Bourton Football in the River 2007 photo gallery
The annual Bourton-on-the-Water Football in the River event has to be seen to be believed, but SoGlos.com’s photo gallery taken at the 2007 game is the next best thing.
Perhaps it’s something in the water, but Gloucestershire is home to a disproportionally large number of wacky events – including the annual Bourton-on-the-Water Football in the River event.
Every year in August two teams from the local Bourton Rovers club take to the cold waters for a game of highly-competitive and fun-filled footie, complete with goals at each end of the ‘pitch’, drawing in spectators from across Gloucestershire and beyond.
