Cheltenham Festival 2008 was a tumultuous affair. High winds may have disappointingly caused the cancellation of one day’s racing, but that didn’t stop punters from around the world enjoying three other action-packed days at Cheltenham Racecourse.
Depending on who your money was on, a highlight had to be the closely-fought battle between Katuo Star and Denman for Gold Cup victory – with Denman crossing the finish line to a flurry of cheers from the crowd, and many-a ripped betting slip.
