Battle 2008 at Sudeley Castle photo gallery

Visitors from across Gloucestershire and far beyond headed for the village of Winchcombe on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, in attendance for the anticipated Battle 2008 held at the magnificent Sudeley Castle.
The Gloucestershire attraction’s grounds were transformed for the two-day event, with highlights including a talk on The Hundred Years War, weapons training, dancing, a foot tournament and, of course, the jousting.
The crowds cheered and jeered as England fought it out against the French knights, while the fearless Black Night stole the show with bravery and bravado in abundance.
