Gloucestershire photo gallery August 2009
From Severn Bore surfing to summer street parties, a stunning set of 31 snaps submitted by a dazzling array of SoGlos.com readers have been selected for the Gloucestershire photo gallery August 2009.
The sun-tinged photographic opportunities of the final month of summer have seen seized by SoGlos.com’s contributing photographers with both hands – with some stunning pictures showcased in August’s Gloucestershire photo gallery to show for it.
This month there are steam engines, fire sculptures and Easter Island-inspired sculptures in the Forest of Dean, riding the Severn Bore and egg and spoon races in Gloucester, and the Kemble Military Show in the Cotswolds.
Plus, don’t miss the playful otters at Slimbridge, the grapes growing at the Edward Jenner Museum, the myriad of insects crawling through the photo gallery, and of course the startled squirrel cover star.
