Diners can expect some of the finest, freshest British fare at The Priory Inn this Christmas.

Pitching itself as a ‘gasto-inn’, The Priory Inn has scooped a whole host of glowing reviews and industry awards in recent years.

Aiming to provide diners with a feast of modern rustic food at affordable prices, its roots lie firmly in showcasing the fabulous local produce we have available on our doorstep – drawing in discerning diners from far and wide.

And this Christmas the Cotswold haunt will be pulling out all the stops, with a festive menu which really shouldn’t be missed.

Available throughout December, the Christmas Party Menu features Jerusalem artichoke and almond soup; terrine of pheasant, pigeon and chicken served with quince and red onion marmalade; and home-cured trout with lime and coriander dressing.

For main course, meanwhile, there’s roasted turkey with seasonal veg; roast loin of pork on the bone with crackling, winter vegetables and apple and brandy sauce; and oven baked salmon fillet with sautéed leeks, tarragon mash and fennel sauce.

The dessert menu also won’t fail to disappoint, with highlights including local delights Duchy Originals Christmas pudding with custard, and chocolate tart with Westonbirt vanilla ice-cream.

The Priory Inn will also be serving a special Christmas Day lunch, with a menu filled with even more gastronomic wonders which will have travelled as few food miles as possible.

The Priory Inn Christmas Party Menu is priced at £25 per person for three courses, available until January 2008, while the Christmas Day lunch menu is priced at £49.95 per person, available only on Tuesday 25 December 2007. See The Priory Inn or call (01666) 503534 for more information.
