Christmas cookery at The Greenway

10 December – Serve-up a magical festive dinner this year with a little help from The Greenway’s Christmas cookery elves, at the hotel in Cheltenham.

Make this Christmas dinner memorable for the right reasons.
Make this Christmas dinner memorable for the right reasons.

Whether you fancy yourself as a budding Nigella or you can barely boil an egg, if you want to get some tips on cooking up a storm for your friends and family this festive season, an afternoon at The Greenway’s Christmas cookery demonstration will be one well spent.

The day starts by easing participants in gently, with tea and homemade Christmas biscuits from 11am, before Darren Jory, The Greenway’s Head Chef, starts to show everyone how to prepare the perfect Christmas Day dinner at 11.30am.

Organisers say that Darren will be sharing culinary pearls of wisdom on everything from how to select the right poultry and how to cook it, to how to whip-up the perfect Christmas gravy, roast potatoes and stuffing.

And if watching all of this wizardry in the kitchen starts the stomach growling, the afternoon will be topped-off with a two course lunch and a complimentary glass of wine. So, even if you’re still hopeless come Christmas Day, at least you will have had a fun afternoon.
