Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival

Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June 2010

The Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival 2010 returns to Montpellier Gardens in the summer, for more gastronomic delights, a celebrity guest appearance from Antonio Carluccio and the chance to eat, drink and be very merry.

Antonio Carluccio will be guest of honour at this year's Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival 2010.

Now in its third year, the Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival is set to once again prove a tantalising temptation for foodies across Gloucestershire and beyond, when the lip-smacking celebrations get under way at Montpellier Gardens from Friday 18 to Sunday 20 June 2010.

Expected to attract more than 15,000 visitors over the weekend, the three-day Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival 2010 is set to include a packed programme of demonstrations from leading chefs including Antonio Carluccio and Martin Blunos, as well as master classes from wine experts.

More than 150 local and regional restaurants and producers will once again be offering visitors the opportunity to try a range of tasty samples, with the chance to fill-up on the day, as well as stocking-up the kitchen cupboards with fine foods, in two food lovers’ marquees.

For those who enjoy a tipple – or two – the wine theatre will once again be showcasing fine wines from England and further afield, with leading wine makers, writers and industry experts sharing their knowledge with the crowds, as well as both The Moet & Chandon Champagne Garden and the wine garden to relax in.

While those with a penchant for a pint will also be treated to some fine samples from local breweries in the Real Ale marquee and Gaymer Cider Garden.

So whether you are a budding master chef or simply love what lands on your plate at the fantastic array of restaurants across Gloucestershire, make sure Cheltenham Food and Drink Festival 2010 is firmly placed in your diaries.
