Kim Bailey evening at The Greenway

Renowned local racehorse trainer Kim Bailey will be hosting a unique evening at The Greenway hotel in Cheltenham, just before the Cheltenham Race Week gets underway.

Just before this year’s Cheltenham Festival and Gold Cup gets under starters orders, Gloucestershire racehorse trainer Kim Bailey will be hosting an exclusive meet the trainer evening talk and dinner at The Greenway hotel on Thursday 11 March 2010.

Guests will not only be able to hear Kim Bailey talk candidly about his career high points and low points as one of the leading trainers in the country, but organisers promise diners may even be able to hear a few tips for this year’s Festival, with a few pointers perhaps on which horses to follow from Bailey’s stable in the Cotswolds.

For the uninitiated, Kim Bailey is the only trainer currently training to have trained the winners of Britain’s three biggest National Hunt races – the Grand National, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle. He achieved this feat with three remarkable horses: Master Oats, Alderbrook and Mr Frisk.

The evening includes a sparkling wine and canapé reception at the renowned Cheltenham hotel, a three course dinner with a bottle of house wine per couple, followed by coffee and petit fours as well as the after dinner talk by Kim Bailey, and a charity raffle for Help for Heroes.

Racing fans and gastronomes alike won’t want to miss this event, which will also give diners the opportunity to visit Kim’s yard at Andoversford the following morning.
