Main courses take in roast pork with crackling, vegetables, potatoes, apple sauce and gravy; as well as the more adventurous fillet of sea bass with tiger prawns, saffron risotto and gremolata crust. While desserts range from apple and almond tart with vanilla ice-cream; to the classic stilton and double Gloucester cheese accompanied by celery, grapes and walnut bread.

On the menu: First courses include the pressed seafood terrine with lemon and dill crème fraiche; as well as the ham hock with parsley and honey dressing, served with pickled vegetables and mustard mayonnaise. Main courses include the crowd-pleasing roast sirloin of beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and a beef jus; and wild mushroom and tarragon tart with Berkswell cheese and buttered spinach.
