The Hairy Bikers will be riding into Gloucestershire to film their latest BBC Two series.

Celebrity chef double act The Hairy Bikers will be returning to Gloucestershire to continue the search for Britain’s best family recipes, and are hoping SoGlos.com readers might share some of their culinary secrets, for the latest in the BBC Two television series Hairy Bikers: Mums Know Best.

In September 2010 there will be a total of eight different days of filming to join in on at the popular Cotswold Farm Park, near Cheltenham.

On Wednesday 15 September 2010 the theme will be ‘posh food’; Thursday 16 it’s ‘high tea’; Sunday 19 is ‘al fresco’ day; on Monday 20 ‘food from the heart’ will be on the show; Tuesday 21 is ‘distant shores’ day; Wednesday 22 September sees ‘a taste of home’ take centre stage; Thursday 23 features ‘comforting food’; while Friday 24 ends with ‘lazy weekends’.

Described as a place to swap family recipes, cookery anecdotes and tips, if you’re a passionate family cook you are invited to come along with your sure-fire recipes and perhaps a cooked dish to join in with the fun. Plus, there will be a chance to see Si and Dave cooking some of their own dishes for the show too.

Tickets to take part are for the over 18s only. Tickets are completely free of charge, however they must be reserved in advance.
