New Year's Eve Dinner at Bibury Court

Celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Cotswolds, with a five-course celebratory dinner and fireworks at the stunning Bibury Court Hotel.

The stunning Bibury Court Hotel in the Cotswolds will be the setting for a special New Year’s Eve dinner this Thursday 31 December 2009, when guests will be able to see in 2010 in true celebratory style.

The special evening will begin with champagne and canapés, followed by five extravagant courses.

Highlights from the menu include a pressing of duck and winter vegetables, pickled mushrooms, spiced pear chutney and toasted brioche; a velouté of parsley and white onion-cured Loch Duart salmon and caviar blinis; as well as lemon sole, crab mousseline with roast artichokes and ceps.

While SoGlos.com’s favourite course will be the fillet of Gloucestershire beef, truffles and Madeira; not to mention the sumptuous-sounding study of chocolate, including hot, warm, cold, dark, milk and white varieties for dessert.

Following coffee, tea and petit fours, guests will then be invited to enjoy fireworks on the front lawn of the Jacobean mansion, providing the perfect setting to see in the new year.
