Tea Ladies Lunch at The Daffodil

Hand-picked tea with a stylish twist will be sampled at the The Daffodil’s monthly Ladies Lunch, this September.

Ladies who like to lunch will probably already know about The Daffodil’s popular Ladies Lunch, and this month’s special gathering at the Cheltenham restaurant is also likely to appeal to tea lovers too.

Kate Gover from Lahloo Teas will be treating female diners at The Daffodil to a special tasting of its artisan teas on Tuesday 7 September 2010 – providing an introduction to hand-picked tea varieties, each with its own character, flavour, provenance and fascinating story to tell.

The Daffodil’s event manager Nina Falling said: ‘Lahloo Teas are a world away from the faceless, mass-produced tea made in large factories… we are delighted to be recognising those who are leading the way in the tea industry.’

The Daffodil’s Ladies Lunch takes place on the first Tuesday of every month, with all diners receiving a complimentary drink on arrival, a two-course lunch and a goody bag to take home.

Priced at a very reasonable £16.50 per person, as well as providing a cost-effective place to catch up with friends, this month’s tea topic sounds exotically educational too.
