Fresh for the month of September, Simon Hopkinson has unveiled his new ‘inspired’ dish of the month at The Montpellier Chapter’s popular restaurant in Cheltenham.

Carnivores will be pleased to hear that the speciality dish is steak tartare, served with lettuce heart and chips, costing £16.50.

As many Cheltenham foodies will already know, the best-selling writer’s latest BBC television series, The Good Cook, laid strong emphasis on using simple combinations of fresh, seasonal and fantastic quality ingredients.

This is a principle that The Montpellier Chapter’s head chef Tom Rains hopes to showcase with the steak tartare dish, which will exclusively be available on the a la carte restaurant menu throughout September.
