Austrian Wine Dinner in Cheltenham
Enjoy Austrian wine from the famous Schloss Gobelsburg vineyard, at Hotel du Vin Cheltenham’s forthcoming dinner.
Promising the perfect pre-Valentine’s Day treat, Hotel du Vin Cheltenham will be the setting for an insightful Austrian wine dinner this Sunday 12 February 2012.
Organisers of the event say Austrian wine is becoming more popular thanks to the characteristic and indigenous white grape variety of Grüner Veltliner, in addition to dry Rieslings. Both grapes show ‘full ripeness and intensity with superb definition and concentration’.
During this evening event in Cheltenham guests will be able to enjoy wines from the famous Schloss Gobelsbury vineyard, one of the oldest in Austria, which includes 35 acres set around the historic Gobelsbury Castle.
The property is touted as a classic example of what Austria can produce and has managed to achieve.
As well as providing the chance to enjoy a voyage of Austrian culture, the special dinner will include welcome drinks, canapés and a four-course dinner expertly paired with Schloss Gobelsburg wine.
Plus, rooms are on offer at the special rate of just £99 for those attending the dinner.
