Luxury Valentine’s Dinner at Manor by the Lake

A three-course dinner, champagne and entertainment from jazz vocalist Sophie Garner await guests at Manor by the Lake’s Luxury Valentine’s Dinner.

Manor by the Lake will be giving couples the chance to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic candle-lit dinner this Tuesday 14 February 2012, accompanied by live music from an award-winning performer.

The ticket price includes a three-course dinner, bottle of wine and a glass of champagne on arrival at the stunning Gothic venue on the edge of Cheltenham.

While entertainment will come from jazz vocalist Sophie Garner, who organisers say has performed at thousands of events all over the world, as well as on television, and has supported big-name acts including the Sugarbabes, Will Young and McFly. She’s also released four albums to date, and been described as ‘a singer who brings every song vividly to life’ by Observer jazz critic Dave Gelly.

Highlights from the Valentine’s menu include starters of brioche bruschetta with poached egg and crispy pancetta, as well as the ham hock and chicken thigh terrine. Main courses include the corned chicken supreme filled with spinach, brie and roasted red pepper with tomato and olive linguine, and the roasted loin of pork with parsnip purée and Madeira thyme jus.

While desserts of wild raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake with pomegranate and Sambuca coulis, or the Belgium chocolate and strawberry fondue, are sure to prove a hit with romantic diners.
