Valentine's at Hatton Court Hotel

A four-course candlelit dinner, champagne, canapés and optional addition of a one- or two-night stay await couples at Hatton Court Hotel this Valentine’s.

Hatton Court Hotel in Upton St Leonards is going all out with its Valentine’s offering this year, giving the romantic at heart the chance to enjoy one of three special Valentine’s packages from Friday 10 to Tuesday 14 February 2012.

The first package, priced at £90 per couple, includes a romantic four-course candlelit dinner with champagne and canapé reception.

Choose from starters of roasted red pepper and tomato soup with pine kernels and green herb oil; smoked salmon fishcake with quails egg, aioli and Japanese cress; or wild mushroom ravioli with cep foam. Second course choices include sea bream with tomato, coriander, shallot and olive oil; or roasted cherry vine tomato and goats cheese salad with a balsamic dressing.

For SoGlos.com the main course will be the highlight of the evening, thanks to dishes including slow cooked shoulder of lamb chump with mini hot pot and gratin dauphinoise; fillet of sea bass with leek fondant, shellfish casserole and cocotte potatoes; or the winter vegetable pithivier with chestnuts and celeriac puree.

While the choice of Valentine’s desserts include strawberry and peppered white chocolate roll with sweet wine-braised new season rhubarb; caramelised pear clafoutis with stem ginger ice-cream; or a selection of British and continental artisan cheese with chutney.

Hatton Court’s second package, meanwhile, is priced at £169 per couple and includes the four-course candlelit Valentine’s dinner, champagne and canapé reception, plus one night’s stay at the hotel.

Or, to make a real celebration of Valentine’s, Hatton Court is also offering a third package for £144 per couple per night which includes the four-course candlelit Valentine’s dinner, champagne and canapé reception, two night’s stay at the hotel and a three-course dinner in the Tara Restaurant on the second night.

What’s more there’s also the chance to upgrade to a room with a whirlpool bath for £30 per room per night – meaning even more bubbles to enjoy with a loved one.
