The restaurant includes 50 covers in the conservatory with magnificent views out across the estate. Headed up by experienced chef Mark David Jane, sample dishes from the restaurant’s menu include starters of oak smoked salmon with celeriac and horseradish remoulade; and wild rabbit terrine with chanterelle mushrooms and a warm chestnut and cider jelly. Mains include the likes of roast fillet of Hereford cross beef, bubble and squeak and Cotswold real ale rarebit; as well as pan seared pork tenderloin with potato dauphinoise, black cabbage and crab apple puree. While dessert highlights include dark chocolate and chilli baked Alaska with beetroot puree; and warm pineapple sponge pudding with lemongrass anglais and coconut sorbet.
